Mobile inspection software for councils
Give field officers and office staff one place to work with inspection locations, forms, photos and history. IHTMaps can be configured around a council workflow and piloted with a small team.

Connect field records to the map
When inspection notes, photographs and property information are held separately, staff spend time matching them up later. IHTMaps attaches form responses and photo evidence to a mapped inspection record.
Officers can work from internet-connected tablets or laptops in the browser. The office can review inspection history and status without assembling the record from paper and email. See the product screens and connectivity requirements.
Request a 30-day free trial for your organisation. The trial starts when we approve your signup; we email you when your workspace is ready. Your data remains available to view and export after the trial.
Start with one inspection type
Firebreaks, gates, property checks, water tanks and asset inspections are useful starting points. Choose a workflow where your team can clearly describe the required evidence, follow-up and reporting.
Bring an existing form and an example of the map data you use. We discuss the configuration and integration needed to make that workflow practical for both field officers and office staff.
Agree a pilot your team can evaluate
The pilot proposal defines the forms, locations, users, hosting and support involved. We also agree what the team will assess, such as form completion, evidence quality and how inspection status is reviewed.
Your feedback guides the next stage. Any broader rollout, additional inspection types or GIS integration is scoped from what the pilot establishes.
GIS experience behind the product
IHTMaps draws on more than 20 years of mapping application work across Perth local government. We also build custom GIS applications and spatial integrations when an existing inspection or operational system needs specific development.
